The Lord has called His Church to grow His Kingdom. We don’t do this in our own strength and wisdom, but through the presence and power of His Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8)
That is why we focus on Growth Groups.
Our Growth Groups have three main objectives:
- Growing in our relationship with the Lord – prayer and Bible study
- Growing in our relationship with each other – availability and accountability
- Growing our community – through reaching out to them with the love of Jesus in various ways
In our groups you will find that members look out for each other’s spiritual and emotional needs. We take time to enjoy life by meeting outside the regular group meeting and having fun. We also take life outside the group meeting serious by serving in many areas of our local community (e.g. soup kitchen, needs assistance etc.)
Our groups meet most of the time during weekdays, fortnightly and some on Sunday afternoons. Our church’s ultimate goal is to do our pastoral care through the Growth Groups structure and have 70% of our members in GG in the near future.
